Who we are
Purpose Driven
Open Food Network Canada is an incorporated, not for profit organization. For the past 10 years, we have supported farms, artisans, and community organizations to connect and scale, in order to increase access to food and flowers produced in ethical and climate-beneficial ways.

Open Flower Network
We’re helping women and gender diverse farmers connect, scale and succeed in the rapidly growing specialty cut flower sector through mentoring, skill-building, and knowledge-sharing opportunities.

Open Agricultural Technology
We’re working with partners around the world to move our industry towards an ecosystem of open technology where users have control of their own data.
Waterloo Region Food Directory
In September 2024, we launched WaterlooRegionFood.ca, a free online directory designed to connect the community with local farms, markets, and food organizations.

Sustainable Cut Flowers – Greenbelt
This new initiative is designed help local flower farms thrive by improving market access, strengthening supply chains, and promoting sustainable flowers grown in Ontario’s Greenbelt region.
